What if there’s no data in my area?
You’ll see it in grey: “○ Pending, no data in the area”, with the condition named (for example, “the operator doesn’t publish MW per node”). We don’t fill it with a made-up number. That coverage honesty is part of the product and of the contract.
Does this use generative AI? Can it “hallucinate”?
The scoring is not an LLM. It is a deterministic engine of official layers with calibrated weights and cited legal vetoes: the same input produces the same output, auditable criterion by criterion. We use AI as an engineering tool where it helps, never to fabricate data that doesn’t exist.
Does pre-screening replace due diligence?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something. CapiGIS is Phase 0. It decides where to spend formal due diligence (engineering, EIA, interconnection studies, legal); it doesn’t replace it. An early NO-GO that saves you that investment is exactly the value.
Do my coordinates and my pipeline go to a cloud?
No. The engine runs on infrastructure controlled by CapiGIS, with no third-party clouds. The reports travel to you; your data doesn’t travel to outside platforms. An NDA is available from the first contact.
Do you also deliver the NO-GOs?
Always. If the verdict is NO-GO we deliver it just the same, with its causes cited. It is probably the report that saves you the most money.
